Joseph Robert Thomas Tragically Drowned at Watergrove Reservoir in Wardle, Rochdale on the 27th July
2008. He was a huge Rochdale fan! Rest in peace in joseph! x

19, he was much loved uncle to Rebecca biram-thomas and adam thomas and alistair thomas. Joseph
loved rochdale Afc, Up the dale, he also enjoyed cricket and played for local team Thornham. he
enjoyed playing football, cricket darts and playing with his friends and spending time with his
family. He loved going to watch Rochdale play and more recently enjoyed the trip to wembley to watch
rochdale in the play off finals. he enjoyed trips to Old trafford to watch lancashire play cricket
which he had aseason ticket for. he was a much loved young lad who`s life has been cut short any1
who met him or knew him know he ws the most decent, fun, full of laughter, enjoyed life to the full
and well mannered young man. he touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
joseph was a son, granson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and a friend. and the best any1 could of
wished for! Rest in Peace little bro! miss u so much!

It's 6 months tomorrow since you left this world. I still miss you every day,but the agony and the grief has gone. It has been replaced by a total peace because I now know that you're safe and happy in your new world. I still miss you every day but now I can smile and laugh at the fun we shared. Thank you for 13 fantastic years Son. Love you always Mum xxx

I miss you so much Joseph,after Donna,Alex and Joan I thought nothing worse could ever happen. Little did I know what was to come. The pain in my heart isn't getting any better. Why after all we went through did you have to go. I feel like screaming but I dont think that would help,so I just cry silent tears. I hope you really are in a better place,I have to believe that you are or what would your life been for. Be at peace son. I love you xxx

We have shared our tears and our sorrow,
we have given encouragement to each other,

we share the title of grieving mother.
Some of us lost older daughters or sons,
who we watched grow over the years,
some have lost their babies before their lives begun,
but no matter the age, we cry the same tears.
We understand each others pain,
the bond we share is very strong,
with each other there is no need to explain,
the path we walk is hard and long.
Our children brought us together,
they didn't want us on this journey alone,
and they knew we needed each other
to survive the pain of them being gone.

Christmas is here and everyone's having fun.
But it's not the same now without you son.
Everythings flat it doesnt feel right.
without your smile shinning so bright.
We come to your grave with a gift or a card.
And say a few words even though it's hard
Our eyes fill with tears as we walk away.
But we'll come back again on another day.
We continue our day with a glowing in our heart.
As we realise with joy that we can never part.

Christmas is nearly here 4 days too go. A time for givin, sharing n loving. A time for families but our family just aint the same with out you. Four months have passed and we still miss u so much. We place sum flowers on your grave the other day and a snowman windmill. Adam was asking after you the other day he was upset coz he missing u 2. Evrydays hard with out u sometimes we cry sometimes we smile sometimes we just sit and think of for a while. Evryday i look at ur picture and wonder why ur gone i think of all the good times we had and all the great things u did in your life for 13 u done alot! Ur life was so full and i know now ur watching us from above our guardian angel u will forever be.
